The mission of the Caring Cupboard program is to try to ensure that no citizen, and especially children, in Anne Arundel County suffers from food insecurity or hygiene issues of any kind and for any reason through providing food and basic necessities through their schools, on-site pop up pantries, and by supporting other food pantries throughout the county with the resources needed to help those they serve, regardless of actual or perceived race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, marital status, sexual orientation, genetic information, gender identity, or disability. The only requirement to receive the services of the Caring Cupboard is need.
Our PROGRAMS
Pantries
The Caring Cupboard runs multiple pantries out of our headquarters located at 8513 Fort Smallwood Road, Pasadena, MD 21122. We also have Little Free Pantries throughout the county.
Volunteers
Our volunteers are deeply invested in the mission and serve as the non-profit’s most enthusiastic ambassadors in the community.
Assistance for All
Project Bloom baskets containing feminine hygiene products in our participating schools to help in those times of need. Our Baby Pantry provides families with assistance with diapers, wipes, and formula.
Scholarships
Caring Cupboard offers college or career technical school scholarships. Amounts awarded are dependent on the number of qualified applications received.
