Our Programs
Each of our programs is designed to support the needs of our communities. Whether it is serving one individual or a family, the Caring Cupboard is prepared to assist them as their needs arise.
Pantries
The Caring Cupboard runs multiple pantries out of our headquarters located at 8513 Fort Smallwood Road, Pasadena, MD 21122. The first is our food and personal hygiene pantry. Food is distributed during Fill A Bag evenings and through home delivery for those without transportation. We are also located in several schools within the county for families to reach out to their counselors for assistance. Our second pantry is the Baby Pantry, providing formula, diapers and other items for infants. The Baby Pantry is also a part of the Southern MD American Red Cross, responding to disasters with the Red Cross.
Little Free Pantries
Similar to Little Free Libraries, the Caring Cupboard supports Little Free Pantries. Instead of books, we place food in them! We currently have 12 LFPs throughout the county, including 6 at public libraries through a partnership with Anne Arundel County Public Libraries. This is an ongoing program with new LFPs being added continually.
